NCC Leagues

This fun, open mixed league curls 14 Fridays in the season from 4 - 6 pm. Open to School District 68 employees and any interested curlers. Curlers can enter as a team or as individuals.

A very popular league. The age requirement is 50+ for Women and 55+ for Men

Teams are drawn from the hat. Once at the beginning of the season and new teams are drawn after Christmas. Draw time is Wednesdays at 12:50 PM.

The league runs from Early October until late March.

You can join for half a season Oct-Dec or Jan-March; Fees are charged accordingly.

This league is open to both Novice and Expereienced senior women and men. League runs Thursdays at 9 AM in two sessions:  8 sessions from October 11 to December 13, 2018 and 8 sessions from January 3 to February 21, 2019.

There will be a total of 16 sessions. 8 in Fall Session and 8 in Spring Session (no curl Oct 18 for Stickspiel and Nov 22 Masters Spiel)

IG Wealth Management Friday is a "Rink of Choice" mixed league with an emphasis on a Fun Night of Curling.  Draw times are 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Tuesdays - 6:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m.

“A”, “B”, “C” and “D” Squares. At the end of each square the bottom 2 teams drop a square and the top 2 teams move up a square. Game times switch after each square. The season may start with “B” and “D” at 6:30, “A” and “C” at 8:30 then after the first square “A” and “C” change to 6:30 and “B” and “D” curl at 8:30 pm. Be sure and check with your league rep if you are unsure of the format so you don’t miss a game.

A wind-up Mini Spiel is held in March.

This League runs its first session Wednesday 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm, starting October 10th. A second session of 10 weeks starts January 2nd.

NEW LEAGUE! Join now to get our new league off to a big start. This league will be on Monday evenings at 7:30 PM starting October 15th. The first two sessions will be an Open Doubles clinic to learn the rules and practice playing two player games. The regular league play will start October 29th. This is an Open league so any combination of players is permitted. Sign up as an individual and we will pair you with a team mate. Come out and have fun learning a new way to curl and support us getting the Doubles going in Nanaimo!

You can join with a friend and curl together in this league or come on out as a single and meet some of the greatest people in Nanaimo. This is a great league for those new to the game or new to town and wanting to meet some new people.

The year is divided into four 10 game squares starting September 28, 2018 and running until late March.

The Senior Men's calendar provides the dates for all squares and games.

The Ladies curl at 1:00 pm Monday afternoons in a fun league for women over 50. New curlers and stick curlers welcome. The League runs two squares: October-December and January-March. Attend one or both. Teams are re-drawn for each square on a rotating system for maximum mixing and social interaction. Social events include coffee after games, fall and Christmas pot-lucks, spring wind-up banquet, and June pitch ‘n putt golf day. League members organize a 3-day senior ladies open bonspiel held in February.

“Sleeman Six Pack League” 6 Ends, 6 person teams. Maximum 12 teams (6 sheets).

Monday - 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm.

Enter as a 6 person team.  Enter as a single.  Enter as a couple.  Enter in any combination and we will endeavor to put teams together.

In the Sleeman Six Pack you will curl (on average) 2 out of every 3 weeks. The individual teams can decide.

This league curls eight ends, starting at 1:00 pm and enjoy a coffee afterwards.  Call Sharon the league rep for more information. Rink of choice means you enter with a team of your choice and curl the season with that team. There are usually some teams looking for players and players looking for teams.  This league generally plays a Round Robin format to begin the season and breaks into squares to finish.
