NCC Leagues

This fun, open mixed league curls 12 Fridays in the season from 4 - 6 pm. Open to School District 68 employees and any interested curlers. Curlers can enter as a team or as individuals.

A very popular league. The age requirement is  50+  for Women and 55+ for Men

Teams are drawn from the hat. Once at the begining of the season and new teams are drawn after christmas. Draw time is 12:50PM

The league runs from Early October until late March.

You can join for half a season Oct-Dec or Jan - March; Fees are charged accordingly

This league is open to both Novice and Expereienced  senior women and men. League runs Thursdays, November 2, 2017 to December 21, 2017 at 9:00 am.

There will be a total of 6 sessions. Cost $56 for 6 weeks (no curl Nov 23 Masters Spiel)

You may register as a single or a team.

Come on out Thursday Nov 2 @ 9:00am for a Meet & Greet, you will have an opportunity to  throw a few rocks and the schedule will be up for team play the following week

We will arrange a six session lesson package at a time frame that works for 4-8 new curlers

We will provide 1-2 qualified/certified instructors for on ice training and as well as some off ice info on basic strategy, position play and team building

The Investors Group Friday is a "Rink of Choice" mixed league with an emphasis on a Fun Night of Curling.  Draw times are 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Juniors curl Mondays 3:45 - 5:15 and Thursdays 3:45 - 5:30 PM with the exception of statutory holidays, Christmas and Spring breaks.

Tuesdays - 6:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m.

“A”, “B”, “C” and “D” Squares. At the end of each square the bottom 2 teams drop a square and the top 2 teams move up a square. Game times switch after each square. The season may start with “B” and “D” at 6:30, “A” and “C” at 8:30 then after the first square “A” and “C” change to 6:30 and “B” and “D” curl at 8:30 pm. Be sure and check with your league rep if you are unsure of the format so you don’t miss a game.

Whether you're a new curler or experienced curler who has just moved to Nanaimo, you are in for lots of fun. You can join with a friend and curl together in this league or come on out as a single and meet some of the greatest people in Nanaimo. This is a great league for those new to the game or new to town and wanting to meet some new people.

Open to men 55 years of age and older.  Teams drawn from a hat. Curl twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays - morning and afternoons).

The year is divided into four 10 game squares starting in early October and running until late March.

The Ladies curl at 1:00 pm Monday afternoons. The age requirement is that you must be over 50. The League runs from October to March. Teams are drawn from the hat twice a year.

“Sleeman Six Pack League” 6 Ends, 6 person teams. Maximum 12 teams (6 sheets).

Monday - 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm.

Enter as a 6 person team.  Enter as a single.  Enter as a couple.  Enter in any combination and we will endeavor to put teams together.

In the Sleeman Six Pack you will curl (on average) 2 out of every 3 weeks. The individual teams can decide.

Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am. Lots of open ice practice time will be available and there may be the opportunity to curl several times week. The club is seeking a few volunteers to help out with this league.

This league plays Monday evenings from 7:30 - 9:30. Rink of choice means you enter with a team of your choice and curl the season with that team. This league curls eight ends, starting at 1:00 pm and enjoy a coffee afterwards.  Call Heather the league rep for more information. Rink of choice means you enter with a team of your choice and curl the season with that team. There are usually some teams looking for players and players looking for teams.  This league generally plays a Round Robin format to begin the season and breaks into squares to finish. The two teams eligible for the Ladies Club Championship are determined by total points to a cut-off date ask your league rep when the date is.
