Policies and Procedures for Rental of the Upstairs Lounge

Rates Based on 100 + Guests Capacity of the Hall (200 guest tables & chairs or 300+ theatre style seating)

Base Rate $950.00 + GST (Based on a 12 hour day)

The room can be rented on an hourly rate $95.00 + GST

Use our Catering - discount 10%

Use our Bar- discount 10%

"Preferred Membership” rate - discount 10%

Responsibility of Renters: Room Set-up and Clean-up

  • Basic - please leave the room as you found it
  • Arranging of the room to be done by renters
  • All decorations must be taken down (including staples, tacks, tape..)
  • Chairs stacked beside tables
  • All table tops and portable bar to be wiped down by whomever is doing the bar service
  • No open flame candles (fire regulations)
  • Confirm the number of guests 1 week prior to the function
  • Confirm building hours, costs and payment– - 1 week prior to the function
  • No U-Brew products to be used "as noted in the license"
  • Provide a copy of your special occasions license to NCC
  • Provide a copy of your liability insurance 1 week prior to the function; this is an absolute must when you are running your own bar
  • Any damages will be paid by the renter; additional clean-up charges maybe added if the room is left excessively dirty

NCC Staff will:

  • Open and close the building
  • Ensure enough tables & chairs are set out for the function
  • Sweep & mop the floor
  • Make sure the bathrooms are cleaned and fully stocked
  • Pull out the dividing wall - if needed - is pulled out

Rental of the Upstairs Kitchen

Minimum - $225.00 + HST Damage Deposit of $125.00 For the Kitchen


  • Dinner plates, cups & saucers, cutlery, salts & peppers coffee urns, use of ovens, half of fridge
  • Wine glasses available @ $5.00/doz + GST
  • Tablecloths Banquet @ $6.00ea
  • Rounds 72x72 @ 5.00 + GST

Responsibility of Renters:

  • All dishes to be washed
  • Cutlery to be hand dried
  • Garbage emptied and carried to outside bins
  • Counter-tops washed, ovens shut down
  • Provide your own tea towels and dish clothes

Responsibility of NCC Staff:

  • Dish washer to be filled and emptied
  • Floor swept and mopped
  • Fans turned on & off

A deposit of $200.00 is needed to confirm all bookings (rates maybe adjusted according to the hours the building is actually used).
