Did you ever want to try curling? Here’s your chance. The Nanaimo Curling Club offers a 10 week Learn-to-Curl-League. This League runs Wednesday Nights 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm and starts the first week of October and runs through until the Middle of December. A Training League is then offered January to March, check the information on the website for more details. Cost is $145/curler – Equipment is provided: brooms, grippers, sliders. You need clean, clean running shoes (all the dirt and gravel picked out of the treats on the bottom of the shoe) – carry those shoes into the Club change into them to go out on the ice.
