Juniors curl Mondays 3:45 - 5:15 and Thursdays 3:45 - 5:30 PM with the exception of School District 68 Elementary Pro D days, statutory holidays, Christmas and Spring breaks. Check the Junior Bulletin Board regularly for up to date information. Please take the time to review the Junior Program Plan and Structure document. All code of conduct forms must be signed prior to the commencement of curling. Forms will be available at the Curling Centre when registering. Or download the forms at the bottom of this page. Cost: One day a week is $125.00 + Curl BC affiliation Fee + taxes Two days a week $155.00 + Curl BC affiliation Fee + taxes Equipment: Juniors are not permitted to wear jeans on the ice. Brooms are provided. Curling shoes are required (see next item) Vouchers: As part of the registration fee, you will receive a $70.00 Voucher for the Nanaimo Curling Centre Pro shop; it is our intention that the voucher be used toward the purchase of curling shoes, if the curler does not already have a pair.. These Vouchers may also be used for league fees within the club or other items in the Pro Shop. Vouchers have an expiry date and must be redeemed by January 31st of the season received. Club Jackets: Will be available for purchase in October. The cost of the jacket is split between the curler and the Jr. Program. The cost per curler is approximately $30.00-$40.00. Bonspiels: The first weekend in November is the NCC Junior Bonspiel with both Competitive and Novice events Throughout the season there are a number of Bonspiels held at various clubs on the Island. We try and get as many teams together as possible for these events. Entry fees range from $10.00-$15.00 per curler and parents will need to provide transportation to the events. Badge Testing: In March there is Badge/Skill testing. Although this is not required, we encourage all Juniors to take part. We are pleased to announce our affiliation with the newly formed Victoria Curling Legacy Foundation Youth League.
