Juniors curl Mondays 3:45 - 5:15 and Thursdays 3:45 - 5:30 PM with the exception of statutory holidays, Christmas and Spring breaks.

Please take the time to review the Junior Program Plan and Structure document. All code of conduct forms must be signed prior to the commencement of curling.

Cost:  The curling season is October to mid March. You can curl either one or two days a week the choice is yours;   choose the day that best suits your schedule. The cost for 1 day a week is $180 and or 2 days a week  $220. (pro shop $80 voucher included in registration fees)

Equipment: Juniors are not permitted to wear jeans on the ice. Brooms are provided. Curling shoes are required (see next item)  

Vouchers: As part of the registration fee, you will receive an $80.00 Voucher for the Nanaimo Curling Centre; it is our intention that the voucher be used toward the purchase of curling shoes, if the curler does not already have a pair.. These Vouchers may also be used for league fees within the club or items in the Pro Shop. Vouchers have an expiry date and must be redeemed by January 31st of the season received.  

Club Jackets: Will be available for order/purchase in November. The cost of the jacket is split between the curler and the Jr. Program. The cost per curler is approximately $ 50.00. The jackets have the curlers name on them.

Bonspiels: The first Saturday in November is the NCC Junior Bonspiel with both Experienced and Novice events. Throughout the season there are a number of Bonspiels held at various clubs on the Island, and we try and get as many teams together as possible for these events. Bonspiel entry fees are usually $20.00 per curler which always includes lunch. Parents will need to provide transportation to the events.

Badge Testing: We do Badge/Skill testing during the Season. Although this is not required, we encourage all Juniors to take part.
